Public Notice: Fire and Emergency Services Conducting Helicopter Safety Training April 12

FOREST PARK, Ga. — April 4, 2023 — Members of the Forest Park Fire and Emergency Services Department will be conducting a special helicopter safety training on Wednesday, April 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., weather permitting. Training will take place near Fire Station #2, located at 785 Linda Way, with a focus on landing zone setup and enhanced safety skills. 

During this time, residents may see low flying helicopters in or near the Linda Way area. Loud noises will only be heard during the landing and takeoff portion of the training. For questions or concerns, call (404) 366-4720 (press option 9 on the main menu).
