Proclamation for Mr. Greg Fievet – Cookiegrams

On February 15th, 2021 ​a Proclamation was presented by the Honorable Mayor and Forest Park City Council recognizing Mr. Greg Fievet – Cookiegrams

Whereas: The City of Forest Park would like to celebrate and recognize the contribution of Greg Fievet, owner of Cookiegrams of Georgia;

Whereas: Greg Fievet is vital to the economic health of Forest Park;

Whereas: Greg Fievet is a Morrow High School graduate, and the owner of Cookiegrams of Georgia. Has been a small business owner in the City of Forest Park for 18 years. He is also known as always showing love and being a joy to everyone he meets; 

Whereas: Mr. Fievet opened his shop in 1983, with his mother Sally Fievet on Old Dixie Highway and later moved to Main Street in 1990 where Cookiegrams is located. He has become a household name and a treasure in the Forest Park community. “Gift Giving With Good Taste”             

Whereas: Mr. Fievet provides the community with quality baked goods and services. He offers ten types of cookies: Chocolate Chips without Nuts, Oatmeal Walnut, Peanut Butter, Sugar Cinnamon, Oatmeal Raisin, Chocolate Chip Pecan, White Chocolate with Macadamia Nuts, White Chocolate, Lemon, Chocolate with Chocolate Chip & Oatmeal Walnut. Greg Fievet’s lemon cookies are one of the most unique flavors on the SouthSide of Atlanta;

Whereas: Through his many years of doing business in Forest Park, Greg has earned loyal clientele in addition to loyal employees. His cookies currently ship all over the world. During his years he has seen the shift in atmosphere in Forest Park. He appreciates and loves the growth and diversity that he sees within the city.       
                                              

Now Therefore, I, Angelyne Butler, MPA, by virtue of authority vested in me as Mayor, and on behalf of the remaining members of the Governing Body, do hereby recognize Greg Fievet for being a key contributor to the economic stimulus in our City and providing quality baked goods to the community of Forest Park. We salute your hard work and wish you continued success.  

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand on this 15  day of February 2021, and have caused the Official Seal of the great City of Forest Park, to be affixed hereto.
