City of Forest Park 2023 Comprehensive Plan

One of the fundamental responsibilities of local government is planning – a word used to describe how a community shapes and guides growth and development. Updating the city's comprehensive plan gives our community the opportunity to look beyond the execution of day-to-day services and consider where they want to be in the next five years, as well as what has to be done to get there. Key topics that are covered in the comprehensive plan include :

  • Community Goals
  • Future Land Use
  • Economic development
  • Housing
  • Transportation
  • Broadband
  • Community Work Program
