Division Chief Keith King


Keith started his fire service career in 1992 as a volunteer firefighter in Bartow County. He served there for 13 years and worked his way up through the ranks to Training Chief, a position he held for 7 years. Keith has served as an adjunct instructor for Georgia Public Safety Training Center for 20 years and has taught classes from basic firefighter to hazardous materials to chief level management classes. Keith has also been instrumental in his assistance with rewriting several courses through their academy. 

Keith joined the Forest Park Fire and Emergency Services in March of 2008 and work his way to Lieutenant and Captain. He is known as a fair and ethical leader with the ability to teach to many different learning styles. He became the Training Officer in June of 2021 and looks forward to continuing the advancement and education of the members of this great department and serve the community through education and training. 

In his off time Keith enjoys fishing and spending time with his family.
